PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTION POLICY

General Policy

The Secretariat of the Tokyo International Viola Competition (hereafter “the Secretariat”) shall appropriately handle personal information with policies, guidelines, etc. prescribed in laws and regulations and by administrative organs.

Acquisition, Use, and Provision of Personal Information

The Secretariat collects appropriate personal information, making explicit its intended use while gathering only necessary content. The personal information collected is used only for purposes made explicit in advance. Unless it is specified by law, information will not be shared with third parties beyond its stated purpose without the individual’s consent.

Proper Management of Personal Information

The personal information collected is thoroughly protected so as to avoid leak, loss or manipulation. Also, personal information that is deemed no longer necessary will be promptly disposed of.

Requests of Disclosure

When the Secretariat receives requests from the individual for the disclosure, correction, termination of use or other requests regarding his/her personal information, the Secretariat will respond to it promptly and with sincerity.
